15 Mei 2011 | Costa Rica, Tamarindo
But to let everyone know how I'm doing I will devote this day to writing my blog :-P.
So after the vacation I went to school again of course.. And it was really hard and confusing since classes for other students had continued in my vacation, therefor I had a hard time understanding the grammar. It took me quite a couple of weeks to get all the grammar organised and now I finally get to understand it but I need to study hard to get it in my head.
Okay so that´s pretty much all there is to say about school, it´s going okay, start to learn the real Spanish now but it´s pretty complicated.
Now more about my experiences in Costa Rica. So besides from going to school I´ve been travelling around in Costa Rica of course. So I´ll try to make a small kinda summary.
I went to a couple of beaches again close to Tamarindo, always beach here in Costa Rica :-P.
I also did a small trip with Karin, Giulia and Johannes to Jaco (a bit bigger sort of city place at the beach) and to Montezuma. In Montezuma we walked to a waterfall which some guy told me about earlier, after about 2 hours walking and climbing we reached a couple of small sort of waterfalls, they were nice but unfortunately not amazing. It was a nice walk though. When we returned I deceided to go to the better known waterfall near Montezuma which is only half an hour walk, so Johannes and I went to the 3 waterfalls. It was really nice and really big and we found a path to climb to the 3rd waterfall. When we got there, there was a little pool with a monkey swing, some rocks to jump off and a 16 meter high waterfall. I knew you could jump of the waterfall, but I first wanted to see someone else do it. So after a crazy guy tried it, I had to go as well and it was a lot of fun so I jumped another 2 times. When we walked back it was getting dark but the road was being lighted by hundreds of fireflies.
So that was a bit bigger trip and then I also went for a weekend to playa carmen with Julia, just chilling and relaxing.
Another small trip to Manuel Antonio, a national park with forest and baeches. It was okay, but really touristic and quite expensive for what you get, nice beaches though ^.^ .
And last week I had an Academic Year trip, from Tuesday till Thursday. We learned where the pineapples come from we have in Europe, where our orange juice comes from, we saw a huge amount of iguanas and really big ones as well, we had a dinner with all the host families we stayed in over there, I happend to stay in a really nice family with a big house and a priavte room with private bathroom, really sweet. And after the dinner we went to a bar to drink something and sing karaoke.
That´s about what I did I thinkg.
Oh and I started to play beachvolleyball here since they have 2 fields in playa Tamarindo now and okay volleyball players.
Till next time, I´ll try to write one more item before I´m home ;-).

Marion:
Maar goed dat we hier in Nederland een huisje aan zee hebben en in Tilburg een beachveld want het zal niet mevallen om die voeten uit het zand te krijgen ;-)
